3 weeks, 6 days old..ahh!

Calista will be four weeks old tomorrow! She had her four week midwife appointment and she now weighs 9lbs,11oz! She feeds very well (obviously) and also pretty much sleeps through the night. All of us are in bed by 11:30 and we wake up around 4:30 to feed, change and burp her and then she is asleep from about 5:30 until around 10:00 am. Amazing right?

Gramzee is back in Winnipeg and I know she is suffering from severe Calista withdrawal. We try to lessen that by sending her lots of photos from my blackberry. Baba Debbie and Zaida Norm are here now. Debbie has been here since last Tuesday. We've gone for a walk most days, even on the rainy days. Calista tried out her Ergo carrier for the first time a few days ago and LOVED it. She was asleep before I even got to the bottom of the stairs and slept the entire time. We also went for a nice walk to Jericho Beach (the closest beach to us) and enjoyed the sunny fall morning. We saw lots of rabbits which I'm sure Calista will love once she's a bit older. They are super tame! Calista is currently napping with Zaida Norm on the couch, cute!

We're renting a car to do a few things on Friday and Saturday. We have to go to Tj Kiddies to buy a glider/ottoman for the nursery, go visit my work, go to a few antique stores and possibly Ikea (opposites much?), probably some grocery shopping and maybe somewhere fun like the aquarium or a pumpkin patch? I bought Calista this cute little pair of glow in the dark skeleton pj's, she could wear those!

Grandpa Dagg (Bruce, my Dad) may be booking a flight out here to see Calista in November. I hope it works out, she is growing so fast!

Anyways, time to get on with our day.. she will be awake soon! We have visitors coming this afternoon and also this evening I leave you with photos...
