Vacation Planning 2011

I got my 2011 Vacation planning sheet from work early this week. It's difficult because Matt and I are trying not to spend a lot of money in anticipation of having this baby but it's tough to schedule holidays around the long weekends only. I will only earn 12/15 days of my entitlement this year because I will likely only work until early-mid September this year. I am planning to fly home over Easter weekend (Matt won't be able to make it due to school and cashflow). This will the only planned trip home for my entire pregnancy.

Here is our family/friends visitor schedule that we managed to arrange. It's so hard to get peole to commit to our picky schedule without seeming like jerks. Usually we're open to guests anytime but using this pregnancy calender online that I found, you just enter your due date and it calculates relevant personal information for you. Once you look at that, you will soon realize why we've been especially picky. It's hard to do when you aren't sharing the reason yet. We set our "tell date" for March 1st.

Anyways, if anybody else is planning to come, please contact us in advance and we'll try to find a good time. I may not have any holidays left so over weekends are best and I may be able to squeak a day or so in. Also, August long is still free!

Seth will visit Vancouver February19-26 (I'll be 10 weeks)
Bruce will visit Vancouver March 22-28 (I'll be 14-15 weeks)
Erin will come to Winnipeg April  flights not yet booked tentative April 19-25!!! (I will be 18 weeks)
Debra will visit Vancouver May 22-29 (flights not yet booked) (I will be 23 weeks)
Shirley will visit Vanvcouver June 26-July 3 (flights not yet booked) (I will be 28/29 weeks)
Tanya and Peter will likely stop over for a weekend in July which will be awesome! No date yet.

See, time flies! It's time to get creative with time and travel :)
